JERRY BURNETT

Jerry Burnett, City Council Member, serves on the Somerset City Council as the elected official for the 11 ward. 

Mr. Burnett grew up in Somerset, attended Parker elementary School and Somerset High School. He is employed at Crane Plumbing. 

Mr. Burnett is the son of Marie Burnett and the late Otto Burnett. He is married to Joyce Hall Burnett and they have three children; Chris Burnett, Catherine Carrier, and Carey Kepford all of Somerset. He also has five grandchildren.

 A Message from Mr. Burnett

I have served on the City Council for two years and I am looking forward to serving the residents of Somerset for another two years. I am looking forward to working with the other Council Members and our Mayor J.P. Wiles.

I have learned that the back bone of our city is due to the great employees and department supervisors we have.  

It is my goal to work for the residents at our great city, especially our senior citizens and our children. I also would like to see our equipment and training in each department upgraded.
