Although the Somerset Parks & Recreation Department does not sponsor this event we do work closely with Lake Cumberland Runners Club to help coordinate and provide logistics support by closing off streets and marking out the course.  This 5-K run takes now in Downtown Somerset in conjunction with the Somernites Cruise.  This years race will go through part of downtown and end at the Rocky Hollow Recreation Center.   For more information call (606) 679-1860.  The next Somernites Cool Run is scheduled to be on June 27, 2008.
