Utility Department 

 

The Utilities Department provides water, sewer, gas, and garbage services to the citizens of Somerset.

They also are responsible for the billing, collection and payments of the utility accounts.

Payment can be cash, check, and credit card.

 

 

 

The utilities department is located at 105 College Street. Office hours are Monday – Friday 8am - 4:30pm. The drive thru is open Monday - Friday 8am -5:30pm for payments only.  The office is closed on weekends and holidays. 

 

Rates for residential new service:                                    

$30.00 water connect fee

$30.00 gas connect fee

If previous service was within 30 days and the account is in good standing:

$15.00 water connect fee

$15.00 gas connect fee

Rates for commercial service:

$100.00 water connect fee

$100.00 gas connect fee

**ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE**

 

Reconnect fee's are:

bring account in good standing and $60.00 for water

bring account in good standing and $60.00 for gas

All amounts on cut off services must be paid by cash/money order/credit card. Checks will not be accepted.
