We also obtain names, addresses, e-mail addresses, phone numbers and payment methods from other sources, such as Sturgis Web Services, PayPal, Gatemaster Technology, Jotform, and MailChimp.

  • How We Use Your Personal Information

We collect such information in order to send emails, fulfill orders, deliver services and products, complete customer transactions, oversee contests and promotions and improve website performance and customer service.

  •  Who We Share Your Personal Information With

We respect your privacy and will never sell, trade or transfer your personally identifiable information to third parties (beyond what is necessary for fulfilling a customer transaction or for the basic functionality of an online service) without your consent.

We do, however, share your name, billing address, e-mail address, phone number and payment methods with our third-party suppliers and credit card processors when necessary.

We may require certain personal data such as name, address, e-mail address, phone number and payment information to provide you with park passes and memberships and to collect recreational league dues. We do not require you to provide any personal data in order tobrowse the public areas of our website. We will inform you at the point of collection whether the information is required.

  •  How Long Your Personal Information Will Be Kept

We will hold all non-client personal data until you let us know you would like for us to delete it or unsubscribe from our marketing contacts, which you are free to do at any time.  We will hold all client and customer personal data in our files for six years.

We collect and use your personal information to send emails, fulfill orders, deliver services and products, complete customer transactions, oversee contests and promotions and improve website performance and customer service.

You may also contact us at communications@cityofsomerset.com to be removed from our SMS/text messaging list. After opting out, you may receive a confirmation message acknowledging your request, after which you will no longer receive promotional SMS communications from us.

Please note that your communication preferences – such as email and SMS messages – are managed separately, opting out of one does not affect any other communication preferences you may have with us.

Parking Tickets

Parking tickets may be paid in the Office of the City Clerk at 306 E. Mt. Vernon St. or mailed in the original citation envelope. Checks should be made payable to “City of Somerset.” Failure to comply with the citations within seven (7) days will result in the fine being doubled. Failure to pay within 30 days will result in a citation to Pulaski District Court. If convicted in District Court there will be an additional court cost of up to or more than $100. The registered owner of a vehicle at the time of the violation shall be liable for all fines. Fees subject to change without notice.

Loading zone: $5
Double parking: $5
Blocking driveway: $5
Parking on wrong side of street: $5
Parking in fire lane: $10
Parking on sidewalk: $10
Parking at fire plug: $10
